Bunfire Veranstaltungs GmbH is aware of its responsibility when processing personal data and undertakes to comply fully with data-protection rights. We act according to lawfulness, transparency, purpose limitation, storage limitation and data security. This statement informs about processing (transparency) and access to rights. Data are processed only for purposes defined before collection, and only with explicit consent where required (e.g. accreditation or information mailings). Data are not published or passed to unauthorised third parties. Processing takes place in the EU. This statement applies to the festival website. Links to other providers are outside its scope.
We process data of interested persons, information recipients and journalists that they provided with explicit consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Where a processor is used without transferring business responsibility, we conclude a processing agreement. Bunfire Veranstaltungs GmbH remains fully responsible. Processors may act only on instructions and must offer sufficient guarantees under the GDPR.
Name, address, phone, e-mail etc. of interested persons and journalists are processed to handle enquiries and inform about the festival. Use for advertising e-mail may be withdrawn at any time. Shop and ticket orders are processed to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for legal retention duties.
Data are stored only as long as needed for the purpose and as required by law, then erased irrevocably.
Web servers temporarily log each access in a log file, usually deleted every six months. Name, address, phone or e-mail are not collected unless you provide them (e.g. contact form). Social content is not loaded from third parties until you click.
On the first visit you may be informed about cookies. You can restrict cookies in the browser; some functions may then be limited. Optional analytics (Google Analytics) is loaded only after consent; the measurement ID is entered in the admin.
Data are protected technically and organisationally against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss and unauthorised access.

In case of a personal-data breach the company will notify the Data Protection Authority without delay as required.
You have rights of access, rectification, restriction, objection and erasure. Prove your identity in a suitable form. We will reply within one month or explain why not. You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
